We are in Álvaro, a schist village, in the small town of Oleiros, district of Castelo Branco.

How to get us from:
From Oporto (about 2h30m hour journey):
- Take A1 motor-way towards the South, get off in Condeixa toll, then drive towards Lisbon in N1
- In Condeixa a small town follow the road IC3 towards Tomar
- Drive in IC8 towards Castelo Branco:
- In IC8 go towards Pampilhosa da Serra, then drive along N2:
- Turn right in N344 towards Pampilhosa and Oleiros:
- Turn right in N351 towards Álvaro and Oleiros:
As soon as you arrive in Álvaro, go along the main street till you find Hospitalários Manor House.
From Lísboa (Lisbon) (about 2h30m hour journey)
- Take A1 motor-way towards the North, get off in Torres Novas in direction towards Abrantes:
- In A23 motor-way get off in Abrantes Noth, then drive towards Vila de Rei:
- In Vila de Rei follow the road signs towards Sertã
- In IC8 get off at the crossroads to Oleiros, then drive in that direction (Oleiros/Álvaro):
- Here there are two options:
- Drive directly to Álvaro Village (here you can find beautiful mountaind scenery but part of the road is damaged - worth while taking this itinerary only during day time)
- Follow the direction to Oleiros
- From here drive towards Oleiros and Álvaro till you reach the Village. Go through the main Street rua central till you find Hospitalários Manor House.
